Made under the banners of Percept Picture Company, 8×10 Tasveer is a nail-biting suspense thriller written and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, who is forever famous for his unorthodox screen works like Iqbal, Rockford, Hyderabad Blues and Dor amidst others.
The storyline of 8X10 Tasveer revolves around a young man Jai, played by dashing Akshay Kumar. Settled in Canada, Jai is a forest guard by profession. He possesses the supernatural power to explore the world of dead people by coming in contact with any object belonging to them.
Jai keeps himself away from this power until one day, when a person very close to Jai is murdered. Jai, then, uses his extraordinary power to unravel the mystery of the murder.
