Aishwarya Rai Bachchan teams up with Akshay again
Vipul Shah, who is currently busy wrapping up his ambitious project London Dreams, has announced his next big film with Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles.

Though there were rumours earlier that the film is titled Action Replay but Vipul is yet to confirm the final title. While Akshay Kumar has been a favourite with Vipul Shah (Waqt: A Race Against Time, Aankhen, Namastey London, Singh Is Kinng), this is the first time that the filmmaker would be working with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The year that was: As many Indians know, 1994 was a significant year in Ash’s life. She entered the Miss India contest, and came in second, defeated by Sushmita Sen. As a result, Ash could only make it to the Miss World contest, which she won, while Sush went on to win the Miss Universe crown.
Classic beauty: Ash has recently said yes to a project with ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, she will work with Bhansali after a hiatus of six years.
The film also stars Randhir Kapoor, who would be seen on the silver screen after a hiatus of eight years, (Armaan in 2001). Randhir apparently plays a scientist in this time-travel tale.
The last time Akki and Ash worked together was in Rajkumar Santoshi’s hard-hitting Khakee, which did fairly well at the box office. One will have to wait and watch if the duo can do an ‘action replay’ of their past success this time around.
